Villa di Radi, in the heart of Tuscany, boasts a sunny and panoramic position.

From Villa di Radi one can see all around the unique and unparalleled panorama of the Crete Senesi, with the medieval towers of Siena in the distance. In the Middle Ages Radi was a fortified castle with four watchtowers defending the city of Siena where, until 1271, a Captain sent there by the Council of Siena had his residence. It was built by Marquis Carlo Metello Bichi Ruspoli Forteguerri on the ruins of the castle during the 17th century. Since then, the property has belonged to the same family, which has preserved the authenticity of the historical site and its surroundings, creating a unique and unspoilt atmosphere. Surrounded by ancient walls, it has an entrance portal that opens onto a large courtyard with a stone well in the middle. Also not to be missed are the 18th-century chapel and the ancient garden-terrace built on the medieval walls. Castello di Radi is a member of the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane – ADSI – and is part of Italy’s national artistic heritage.

Villa e Fattoria di Radi Siena is located close to the oldest and richest art cities in Tuscany, such as Siena, Florence and Arezzo. It is strategically located for visiting Chianti, Val d’ Orcia, Montalcino and the Maremma.

The village is at the centre of a vast organic farm.

Olive oil, cereals and fodder are produced here. In the meadows surrounding the hamlet there are three natural ponds and on walks you can observe wild animals such as pheasants, squirrels, deer and Chianina cattle.

Right next to the Villa di Radi there are 5 fully furnished flats with independent entrance, exclusive garden and swimming pool. Each flat is different in size and style, with wooden ceilings and terracotta floors. Each has a private terrace or a private gazebo in the well-equipped garden with table, chairs and barbecue. The property also includes 2 charming suites with bed and breakfast.

In the Village there is a Bar and Snack Point “Sapori di Radi” with garden, where our guests can enjoy a typical Italian breakfast (included in the price on request) and a selection of the best local wines.
